NuvOx Pharma is a clinical stage biotech company that is developing a revolutionary drug for oxygen delivery. The drug is starting Phase II clinical trial in stroke, the #2 cause of death worldwide and a leading cause of disability. NuvOx is seeking a new team member to help coordinate development.

Position Summary

The new team member will report directly to the CEO and should be onsite at least 3 days per week. The manager will have responsibility for ensuring that employees meet timelines and milestones in a clinical stage biotechnology company. The team member will help to coordinate research development activities, drug development, investor activities and business development.

Director of Quality at Clinical Stage Biotechnology Company

The drug is starting Phase II clinical trial in stroke, the #2 cause of death worldwide and a leading cause of disability. NuvOx is seeking a new team member to help maintain quality control.

Position summary

Manage the stability testing of formulae, finished product and manufacturing procedures to ensure the reliability, consistency and compliance of cGMPs, and other areas of compliance as directed by the company. Oversees and approves documentation. Manages QC personnel in performance of their jobs, and reports directly to the CEO. Requires proven skills in critical thinking and problem solving, strong organizational, and mathematical skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations using units of weight/ volume measurements. Detail oriented and responsible. Flexible and innovative thinking. Uses good judgment and works well under pressure. Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks. Is knowledgeable and compliant with FDA, cCGMP, GDP requirements. Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Education/Experience

A bachelor’s degree and/or the equivalent experience in manufacturing or production is required. At least five years related work experience is preferred.
